Hockey Pick’em — Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2026-09-24

These terms apply to the Hockey Pick’em app (“the App”) for the Reddit Developer Platform, operated by its developer (“we”). By using the App you also remain bound by Reddit’s User Agreement and Content Policy.

1. What the App is

A free-to-play prediction game: players pick winners of hockey games inside Reddit posts and earn points on a community leaderboard.

2. No money, no prizes, no gambling

• The App is free. There are no purchases, entry fees, rewards, prizes or cash value of any kind.
• Points, ranks, streaks and leaderboard flair have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for anything.
• The App shows no odds, does not link to gambling services and must not be used to organise gambling. Communities must not attach prizes to App results.

3. No affiliation

The App is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by the National Hockey League, its teams, or Reddit, Inc. Team names and three-letter abbreviations are used only to identify games. No league or team logos are used.

4. Game data

Schedules and scores come from a public data feed and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Moderators may void games. We may correct results. Scoring is provided “as is” and decisions of the App (and of community moderators) are final.

5. Fair play

Do not use automation, multiple accounts or exploits to make picks. Moderators and we may remove players or data that break these terms or community rules.

6. Availability and changes

The App is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and may change, pause or stop at any time. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the App. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.

7. Contact

Questions: send a Reddit message to the developer account listed on the App’s page at https://developers.reddit.com/apps/hockey-pickem.
